New to solitaire? Don’t worry—it’s easier than it looks. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started with the classic Klondike version:

Step 1: Set Up the Tableau Deal seven piles of cards, with the first pile having one card, the second two cards, and so on. Only the top card of each pile is face-up.

Step 2: Create the Stockpile and Waste Pile The remaining cards form the stockpile. When you can’t move on the tableau, draw from the stockpile to the waste pile.

Step 3: Build Foundations The goal is to move all cards to the foundation piles, starting with Aces and building up by suit (Ace to King).

Step 4: Move Cards Around the Tableau You can move cards between piles as long as they alternate colors and descend in rank (e.g., red 7 on black 8).

Step 5: Keep Playing Until You Win (or Lose) The game ends when all cards are in the foundation—or when no moves are left.

Conclusion That’s all it takes! With practice, you’ll quickly learn the strategies to improve your winning rate.
